MUII-plus Seminar Series

In  2017, a seminar series was established in Cambridge for students studying for a Masters degree in Immunology and Clinical Microbiology and other relevant courses at Makerere University in Uganda. The purpose of the seminars is to provide additional expert input to the lectures that the students attend locally, with seminars delivered by volunteer academics from the University of Cambridge, the Babraham Institute  and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute.

The seminars are delivered by video conference which allows interaction between the students and the Cambridge seminar presenter.  The  seminars to date have been much appreciated by the audience at Makerere University. We therefore hope that this is the start of a long term programme of seminars and that many more Cambridge researchers will be interested in contributing (please contact Corinna Alberg to discuss this).

More information can be found on the current seminar programme which started on September 26th 2018 and the completed previous seminar series 1,  seminar series 2 and seminar series 3
